Consumer advocate and author Debra Lynn Dadd has been a leading influence on the natural products market for nearly two decades. With new scientific evidence showing the dangers of common household products continue to be a problem, her work is more timely and valuable than ever.
Diagnosed with an immune-system disorder in 1980 (now known as environmental illness or chemical sensitivity), Debra healed herself by learning about and removing toxic materials in her home.
Since there was then little information available on the topic, Debra wrote her first book "Nontoxic & Natural," alerting consumers to toxic dangers of common household-products and offering natural alternatives.
Her other books include: "Nontoxic, Natural & Earthwise," "The Nontoxic Home," "Sustaining the Earth," "The Nontoxic Home & Office," and her latest, "Home Safe Home".
Debra has also written for several magazines including Vegetarian Times, New Age Journal, Greenpeace, Natural Health, and Self magazines. She has also written columns for Let's Live and Environmental Action magazines and is a columnist for Natural Home magazine.
Debra lives in a nontoxic home in a Northern California forest.
